Now that I have settled into a groove at work and things are calming down, I will be back to my normal posting schedule of every day to every couple days.
I have income again so I will be able to start pre-ordering games again and purchasing them on a more frequent basis. I am also upping my gamefly membership to more games out at a time. I am considering reinstating my Blockbuster combo pass again for unlimited rentals and of course will continue to redbox to my hearts content.
The plan is to keep racking up the score and achievements. I'm fast approaching my 2nd year of Xbox and want to hit 100k either before or shortly after.
It is gonna be a race to the finish but I plan on taking it head on and making it happen.
Also, the blog might be moving to its own domain here shortly, I am currently shopping around different urls and am trying to find one that suits me best.

Leapfrog Day 7....I've come to despise THQ....
I'm really starting to get into a groove. I'm actually working on games consistently and going back to things I thought I wouldn't touch for awhile or ever again. Case in point, Fallout New Vegas reappeared on my card today. As did some other random things I didn't think I would bother with. It is kind of nice to be working on this crazy backlog and actually seeing results.
I started my my day with GRAW, it ins't really my type of game but I have a rule that I have to at least try something for a least 30 minutes more than 1 time before I discount it to the pile of games I despise or refuse to play. This is on it's second play and I don't despise it I just don't care for it much. I won't refuse to play it but I will not be going out of my way to pop it in either. When the dust had settled I got 2 for 50G.
UFC....what can I say that I already haven't...hmm...how about the hilarious Pokemon reference in the Gotta Catch 'Em All achievement for collecting virtual cards of fighters...I must say I enjoyed Pokemon more. But congratulations THQ you paid homage to a company who doesn't have 70 cent shares and isn't laying off 170 people because they have a business formula that actually works. Wait, companies don't dump millions of dollars into licensing for a niche market game normally huh? Baffling indeed. Somehow, this game has made me realize just how much I find THQ to be retarded. I thank them for Saints Row The Third but most of the rest of the lineup I find to be unfinished, unpolished crap. I can't even get online for UFC and the servers still exist, I guess when you have no employees to work on the server because you laid them all off things go downhill, now if only this problem wasn't occurring before they were nearly kicked off the stock market and they announced layoffs....Get it together or shut down already....2 for 55G...moving along.
Fallout: New Vegas, now I enjoy this game. I stood in line for the midnight release in the slightly chilly air got my collectors edition and then didn't put it down for about 2 months. Then I found myself burnt out and very much so over V.A.T.S. and the wastes. But for some reason after more than a year of me not touching this game at all I found myself wanting to play it and play I did. I actually smiled the whole time I had this in today. And remembered I had 4 save files running for different faction playthroughs. I loaded up my Wild Card playthrough and went to town. I unlocked 3 for 65G.
Left 4 Dead 2, it makes me remember that sometimes a shotgun is all you need. 1 for 15G.
Cabela's Outdoor Adventures, I realllllly like shooting poor defenseless animals what can I say? Thumper needed that .44 mag to the ass, that Elk deserved to be shot in the heart with my recurve bow...it's all in good virtual sport! Besides, I'm far too lazy to actually go out and do this in person so doing on a video game is the next best thing. I haven't renewed my fishing or hunting licenses in years this is all I have left people! 8 for 215.
In completely unrelated but could be in some ways news I have canceled my Blockbuster combo pass membership. They hadn't received any new games since Skyrim nor did they have any old stuff that I hadn't played or didn't already own. I actually had more titles sitting at home than they did in store. Scary to a degree.

Getting Work Done!
I am still working on the achievements earned blogpost. It is far more of a bitch than previously thought. I have been gaming pretty avidly, and getting prepped for a few massive undertakings.
I started Gears of War 3 for the 3rd time, this save file is my co-op one. We only got ACT 1 completed because we had already played it twice before. Stupid collectibles. I missed 1 and had to go back to get it. I only played 1 chapter of ACT 2 so I'm going to focus more on the co-op file to finish it out more achievements and far more fun. I started some of the secondary modes with HORDE being my favorite. I'm looking to hook up with a good team for it because most people don't have the fortitude to go to 50 it seems.
Picked up COD: WAW and I'm not sure if I like it more than MOH: Airborne. It is a good experience so far with some inventive achievements and of course NAZI ZOMBIES! But like all games of this nature it will take time. Nothing but sheer time.
I started PC gaming again, shocking for me. I'm going to have to either upgrade my current PC a little more or just break down and build a new one. I'll probably start planning my new one in the next few months. I'm hoping to find an I7 processor on sale. Or I could just breakdown and run Bootcamp on my mac and buy a copy of Windows to run on it....might be cheaper. The mac is grossly overpowered and would handle any new game coming out easily along with exceeding the requirements of the other games I have sitting here for PC. I started TINKER which I have to say is actually really fun. Just kind of time consuming and sometimes the achievements can be glitchy, but it isn't anything that I cannot fix(just reload the game should fix it). I also started Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, and am currently searching for co-op partners for it, but while I am waiting on that I am playing through solo getting acquainted with the game.
I am finally nearing the end on NHL 2K6....I'm not a huge fan of sports games, so this has been annoying for me. I only have 1 achievement left and plan to get it done tonight or tomorrow so I can just throw the game away. Mostly because well it isn't worth shit. You can buy it for 99cents or less at gamestop. So trading this in would net me pennies or even more possibly I would have to pay them to take it.
I rented Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2 from Blockbuster and plan to get into it today or tonight. I have the unlimited pass and am seeing the benefit of it. Especially now that they raised 1 day rentals on some games to 2.99. So for 16 bucks a month I can rent all I want with no late fees or time limits. And seeing as how I can blow through 7 or more rentals a week when I am in the swing of gaming this is a very good deal.
I still have my Gamefly membership, I downgraded to 1 game out at a time. I'm waiting on them to hopefully send me Family Game Night 3. I enjoy little board games like this when its late at night and I am feeling lazy. I wish shipping didn't take so long, that is a huge complaint. I doubt I will see this game before next week. I sent my previous game on tuesday so I might get lucky and get it saturday if I'm lucky.
